WHY US?
When you choose to work with CCC, you work with the expert’s 100 percent of the time. Your student is never “farmed out” to junior staff, but rather get the focus and attention from the best in order to achieve the desired results.
CCC’s comprehensive college admissions process includes the following:
1. Background Information Gathering-Students and their support network fill out comprehensive questionnaires that will allow our counselors to begin the process of narrowing down over 2000 U.S. colleges and universities to a reasonable list of schools that are the right fit for your student
2. College List Building and Major Selection-a one-on-one consult to review information from the questionnaire and finalize the list of targeted schools. In addition, develop “personal narrative” for student to run throughout every aspect of the application process.
3. Narrative Crafting-Every student is unique, and we work to develop a distinct and cogent narrative that runs from their essays to extracurriculars and letters of recommendation to internships and summer school classes.
4. Career Path, Standardized Testing, Extracurriculars and Intellectual Curiosity-once the school list is built and a major selected, we round out the other major components of the application by recommending standardized test type and timing (including, in some cases, to not take one at all), advise on meaningful extracurriculars and suggest options that display meaningful intellectual curiosity. We also make sure students understand career path options based on the selected major.
5. Essay Consultation-CCC consults with the student on the specific style of college application essays, as well as creative approaches to the prompts best-suited to the student’s narrative.
6. Essay Editing-After the student’s draft is completed, CCC’s expert editors work with the student to hone their message, craft introductory hooks and substantive conclusions, and ensure consistent messaging without typos or grammatical errors.
7. Application Work-We manage every byte of information in every application to streamline the process, help students avoid acceptance-killing errors, and never miss a deadline. We also advise on Early Decision and/or Early Action, if offered.
8. Financials-FAFSA, CSS Profile, Merit- and Need-Based Scholarship; CCC will help you families maximize aid and scholarship so that they’re playing as little as possible in tuition and other fees.
9. Private Scholarship Consultation and School Visits-once applications are submitted and acceptances start to roll in, CCC will help your student identify private scholarship opportunities. We will also advise families on how and when to visit their top-choice schools.
10. School Selection-After acceptance letters and financial offers have been received, we consult with the student and family to evaluate options and help finalize college selection, including the submission of the final step—the acceptance letter!
